At GH Lab we protect your personal information. This notice explains what data we process and how, when you contact us or use our laboratory services.
Data controller
GH Lab, located at Yate Mz 12 Lote 5-Y C, Chamizal, San José del Cabo, B.C.S., Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data. You can reach us at ghlab.sjc@gmail.com.
What data we process (including sensitive data)
We process identification and contact data (name, phone, email) and sensitive personal data related to your health (reason for your visit, requested tests, lab results and, where applicable, genetic data). We expressly inform you that this is sensitive personal data. This website does not store your data: the form only opens WhatsApp with the message you choose to send; any data you provide afterwards is used to deliver the service.
Consent for health data
Processing your health data requires your express consent, which we obtain when the service begins (at reception or when confirming your request). Without that consent we cannot process your samples.
How we use it (primary purposes)
To handle your request, schedule and perform your tests, send your samples to reference laboratories when the test requires it, deliver your results, follow up and invoice. These purposes are necessary to provide the service.
Secondary purposes
Additionally, we may use your contact data to send you promotions, check-up reminders and information about our services. If you don't want your data used for these purposes, you can tell us at any time at ghlab.sjc@gmail.com, without affecting the service.
Transfers
To perform certain tests we may transfer your samples and data to reference laboratories, including laboratories located outside Mexico, solely to process the test. Under the law, transfers necessary for your diagnosis or medical care do not require your additional consent, and the recipient is bound to protect your data. We do not transfer your data for commercial purposes without your consent.
Limiting use or disclosure
You may ask us to limit the use or disclosure of your data by writing to ghlab.sjc@gmail.com.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw the consent you gave us, simply and free of charge, by sending your request to ghlab.sjc@gmail.com. Withdrawal will not have retroactive effects.
Your rights (ARCO)
You may request access, rectification, cancellation or objection to the processing of your data (ARCO rights) by writing to ghlab.sjc@gmail.com. Include your name, a means to contact you, an ID and a description of the data or right you wish to exercise; we will respond within the time frames set by law.
Tracking technologies
This site uses a cookieless analytics tool (Vercel Analytics) that measures visits in an aggregated, anonymous way; it does not install tracking or third-party cookies, so it does not require your consent. The contact form does not store data.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version will always be available on this site.
